About this event
2 sessions, Mon, Sat, Nov 16 – Nov 21. Join the Southeastway Park Invasive Strike Force Team and help us eradicate invasive plants! Fall is prime-time to remove woody invasive plants, so gear up! We will be focusing primarily on honeysuckle, but may remove other invasives. No prior experience or knowledge of plants necessary; we will go over the basics. We will be using loppers, saws, and pruning shears (all provided). Wear gloves if you prefer and bring a water bottle. We will work as long as people are willing. Meet at the Activity Center All Fall volunteer dates: Sept 20 and 28, Oct 3 and 26 (Oct 3 meets at 9am*), Nov 16 and 21. For questions, email caitlin.stahl@indy.gov This activity may be canceled in case of inclement weather -- strong winds, heavy rain, thunderstorms. Please email caitlin.stahl@indy.gov if you have any questions.
