6 sessions, Tuesdays 6:30–7:30 PM, Oct 20 – Dec 1. Explore the seasons through clay! Young artist will create their own handmade pottery inspired by spring, summer, fall, and winter. The project may include a leaf plate, decorative tree vase, snow sculpture, and a mini clay sandcastle. Creative expression is encouraged as participants design each piece in their own unique style! Everyone will also have an opportunity to try the pottery wheel and create their very own soup bowl! Finished pieces will be glazed and fired, with select projects ready for pickup approximately three weeks after the classes end. This program is intended for youth ages 8-12. Class will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 at the Garfield Park Burrello Family Center from October 20th to December 1st, excluding November 3rd.
