About this event

Join us in anticipation of the first day of winter. We will be going for a winter foraging stroll around Central Park. Plants can be identified in the winter by seeds, berries and pods they produce or the leaf litter on the ground. You will learn how to identify common prairie and woodland plants and will search for some small plants under the leaf litter. Bring a hand lens and ID book if you have one and remember to dress for the weather!
