About this event

10 sessions, Wednesdays 5–6 PM, Sep 9 – Nov 11. Learn tips and tricks to express yourself, structure your speech, and overcome stage fright in this interactive class. You will be guided step-by-step through speech preparation and delivery, which will help boost your confidence and develop critical thinking skills to influence your audience. Activities include icebreakers, introductions, voice projection, memorization, speech writing, research, improv interviews, and constructive criticism. This class prepares you to speak with confidence and become an effective communicator. Students will receive handouts on each topic. At the end of the session, participants will present their speeches at the podium!
