About this event
50K. Inspired by the Taco Bell 50k in Denver, this is a 50k "fun" run around Hamilton County that has "aid stations" at 8 Taco Bell's along the way. The run starts with eating an item at Taco Bell #1 and then running to each Taco Bell in turn and eventually ending back at the same Taco Bell for one last item. NOTE: food is not provided! You must order your own Taco Bell! There are no restrictions on what items you may get, but there are 2 tiers of difficulty to this race plus an additional challenge: Standard: consume 1 food item at each taco bell Hard Mode: consume 1 food item at each Taco Bell AND by the 4th stop, all entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Chalupa Supreme or one Crunchwrap Supreme. By the 8th stop, all entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Burrito Supreme or one Nachos Bell Grande Baja Edition: You must consume 2 liters worth of Baja Blast throughout the race (TB size equivalents: 2 larges, 2.6 Mediums, 4 smalls) You will select either Standard or Hard mode, you can do the Baja Blast challenge for either of the two difficulties. I have printed 3d medals (no ribbon, but it comes with a keychain ring to attach to a gym bag, or a ribbon if you want to buy one) and you will receive a medal for the difficulty you choose and can earn the Baja edition medal as well. I will not stick around for the entire day to hand out medals so if you finish way before me or way after me, contact me for your medal(s) and I'll get one to you. Keep in mind this is a free fun run, there will be no winners/age group awards, there will be no officials or course marshals, there is no first aid, there is no course signage. It is self supported, including the course navigation. Not every part of the course includes paths either, it is up to the individual to ensure their own safety while navigating the route. Please see the course guide linked below for details. I would recommend loading the map on your watch and/or phone, heck you could print it out if you want. This race will start and end at the Taco Bell in Westfield near 31 and 32. This counts as both the 1st and 8th Taco Bell. The second Taco Bell in noblesville does not open until 8am, it is about 7 miles away, that means if you plan on running quicker than ~8:30/mile then you may want to order a second item at the first Taco Bell and bring it with you to eat at the second (totally legal). I would personally recommend this for everyone since I’m not sure how long it will take for the Taco Bell to get up and running, and you likely can’t place an app order until it opens. But you do you. Parking: to avoid leaving a bunch of cars in the taco bell parking lot, please consider parking either across the street near Titus Bakery or near the Portillos. Optional timing and leaderboard will be done through the ALLEYKAT app! https://www.alleykat.app/share/race/6dbb989a-55e7-47d7-a70e-e77192cab905?type=unsanctioned A link to the course can be found here:…
