Make your own fused glass night light at the Avon Library! Local Artist and Teacher Janette Fluharty will teach the basics of fused glass including the history, types of glass, and techniques for creating beautiful pieces. Beginners welcome! Get creative as you design your night light and choose from a variety of colorful glass pieces to make your vision come to life. Learn how to safely cut and arrange glass. Once your design is ready, Janette will fuse it in her home studio. Your beautiful night light will be available to pick up at the library on November 21st. Class details: - Duration: 1.5 hours - Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate - Materials Provided: Glass, tools, and night light fixtures - What to Bring/Wear: Closed toe shoes and a creative spirit. Make a beautiful night light that shows your style. Whether you want a new hobby, an addition to your own home décor or a unique gift, this class is perfect.* Brighten your life with fused glass! * Registration is required and opens one month before the program. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration to open your seat for another patron. Activities are made possible in part by Noblesville Creates and the Indiana Arts Commission, which receives support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts. Participants will be asked to complete a survey at the end of the program. We appreciate your feedback!
